Local TV host named one of Capiz’s most outstanding women

ROXAS CITY—Dolores Alayon Buday is a source of inspiration and hope on and off the camera. No wonder she was hailed as one of the outstanding women of Capiz by the Borres Youth Leadership Institute (BYLI).

Buday, also known to her friends as Tita Dolly, was given such distinction for NGO, Civic Organization, and Philanthropic work.

Buday is a host of “Today with Dolly” on Filvision Alto Cable Channel 6. The show airs on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Sundays at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Buday’s program has also been holding holds its annual gift-giving since its first broadcast in 2006.

Buday is also a part of the Gawad Kalinga Capiz and is a former president of the Rotary Metro Roxas Central District 3850.

She also received the presidential award from the Rotary Metro Roxas Central District 3850 as President for year 2016-2017.

Buday was also recognized for having the highest contribution in the Alay Lakad 2008 and as an Outstanding Rotarian in Assistance to Persons with Disability.

She also held symposia on awareness regarding cervical cancer, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, osteoporosis, and child and maternal care.
