Student-athletes of the Province of Capiz did not perform well when it ranked 4th out of the six provincial contingents at the recent 2025 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet.
In the official medal tally of the Department of Education (DepEd-Western Visayas), student-athletes of Capiz took home a total of 192 medals.
It included 20 gold medals, 59 silver medals and 113 bronze medals.
Similar to its overall ranking, Capiz also ranked 4th in the games for high school athletes.
In the games for elementary athletes, Capiz ranked 5th.
Capiz also ranked 5th in the paragames, which was played by student-athletes with disabilities.
Capiz performed better than Antique and Guimaras, which ranked 5th and 6th respectively in the overall rankings.
