CAPIZNON DRUMMER ON WORLD’S BIGGEST HEAVY METAL MUSIC FESTIVAL—Drummer Lemuel Anthony Gadong of Roxas City performed on stage at the Wacken Metal Battle 2026 Final in Germany. Gadong is the only Capiznon of Iloilo-based band Sentient Void, which represented the Philippines during the July 29-30, 2026 global final rounds. Sentient Void was awarded the Wacken Metal Battle Online Fan Vote Award and was given a cash prize of €2,500 by the non-profit Wacken Foundation.
