The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Office conducted a successful holiday marketing in Mambusao.
The whole-day “2025 Diskwento Caravan: Christmas Bazaar” last December 3 offered discounts on basic goods, prime commodities, and Noche Buena items in a bid to make the Christmas celebration more affordable.
“I came here to buy the items they’re offering at the Diskwento Caravan so we can save even just a little, because right now things are really very difficult,” said Celna Bedoy in Hiligaynon, thanking the DTI for the initiative of gathering and bringing the distributors and retailers closer to the people.
She was among the hundreds of consumers from Mambusao and adjacent municipalities who availed of the Diskwento caravan.
“Every Diskwento activity of the DTI, we are participating in it as our company’s way to help consumers cope with the rising inflation,” said Fast Distribution Inc. representative Stephanie Bade.
A total of nine distributors and retailers, as well as seven micro small and medium enterprises (SMEs) showcased their products.
