AKAPKA launches in Roxas

Angkas Kabataan Para Sa Kalikasan formally launched in Roxas City recently, with its  pioneer members took their oaths at Barangay Baybay.

The program started with a coastal clean-up by different student organizations from Filamer Christian University. These are Filamer Christian University Student Republic-Nationals, NSTP- Coastal Leaders Environmental Action Network, Senior Red Cross Youth, Barkada Kontra Droga, Circle K International- FCU Chapter, The Green Advocates, Work-Study Program Organization, Leo Club, and Students’ Reform Party.

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, who was represented by Councilor Inday Trina Almalbis-Ignacio,  extended his support to the activity.

Adam Jesus Bering, the adviser of the newly formed organization, presented the rationale of the organization which aims to conduct various activities that focuses on the preservation and rehabilitation of different natural resources and ecosystems across the province.*
