2024 Capiztahan Reina Elena: Niña Danica Tupas Valdemar

In the warm and vibrant town of Jamindan, a young lass has been divinely graced with attributes
our youth aspire to adhere to. A charming mademoiselle named Niña Danica Tupas Valdemar.
Niña is the unica hija of Mayor Mac Artur Luces Valdemar and Donnah Tupas Valdemar.
At 16 years of age, Niña is a very compassionate sister of Mc Daniel Tupas Valdemar.
Known as “Manang Nins” by family and friends, she has grown well with deep faith in God. She
also has love and compassion for her family, friends, and townmates.
In her elementary years, Niña’s academic journey derived from quiet yet noticeable distinctions.
Her achievements, though not always in the spotlight, placed her subtly among the top level of
her class. She gladly demonstrated her skills beyond the classroom, gaining recognition in the
Regional Schools Press Conference for editorial writing from the fourth to sixth grades. Her
early inclination for leadership manifested in her role as secretary of the Supreme Pupil
Government (SPG), and her enthusiasm and passion for performing arts led to her participation
in the Sayawit Competition, Division Level, and other school and community activities.
Progressing to junior high school, Niña’s commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence
continues. She even maintained high honors from grade 7 to the recent year, where she is in the
10th-grade level, balancing her studies with varied school and civic activities. Her journalism
skills were apparent again when she qualified for regional competitions in the 9th grade and
served as editor-in-chief for two consecutive school years. Her leadership abilities further
developed as president of the Peer Educator in the District of Jamindan and secretary of the
Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) in her beloved school, the Jamindan National
High School. Her participation in the Rotary Club Boys and Girls Month Celebration and
membership in the Asian Math Science League Inc. (AMSLI) displayed her eagerness to engage
in diverse learning experiences.
According to her, the most illuminating event of her junior high school years was her
participation in the Summer Sonata Recital last August 5, 2023, at Robinsons in Roxas City. She
performed a piece known as Passacaglia by Händel/Halvorsen while captivating the audience
and showcasing her musical talent and emotive expression. In addition, her preference for
playing instruments continued when she got a chance to join their local school band, Doña Elena.
Her leisure activities, which include reading books, painting, playing guitar and piano, and
participating in sports like basketball and badminton with her family, reflect her well-rounded
character. In addition, she is a member of the San Sebastian Parish Music Ministry and Parish
Youth Ministry, which mold her to be more God-fearing and devoted to religious practices.
Nina was motivated by her grandma’s words of wisdom to do good, and good things will follow.
These words embody her philosophy in life and radiate kindness, diligence, and positivity that
serve as an inspiration to all. Because of her potential in public speaking, she desires to enter law
school and become a lawyer someday.

As Reina Elena 2024 and Reigning Binuligay Queen of Jamindan, Niña represents more than a
title. She symbolizes the collective values, hopes, and ingenuity while extending her role beyond
the crown to exhibit leadership, friendship, and aspiration to all.
