21,700 vaccinated against COVID-19

ROXAS CITY — Some 21,700 Capiznons were already vaccinated against COVID-19 as of May 31, the Capiz Provincial Health Office reported.

Those who got their jabs were the frontline healthcare workers, senior citizens, and individuals with comorbidities.

According to PHO, 9,768 of the 15,464 targetted frontliners have received their first dose, and 5,021 got their second dose.

At least 6,806 of the 73,117 senior citizens received their first dose, and only 28 have gotten their second dose.

The PHO report also said that 5,126 of 19,053 individuals with comorbidities were vaccinated for Covid-19 and that they have yet to get their second dose.*
