ROXAS CITY—Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF) and Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) have three options for the mandatory 14-day quarantine in this city.
Both ROF and LSI can either go to one of the quarantine facilities of the city government, undergo 14-day quarantine or stay at a hotel accredited and/or identified by the city government at their own expense.
Recently, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas issued an Executive Order for guidelines on mandatory quarantine for LSI and ROF effective Nov. 1.
Those who opt for home quarantine will be monitored by Barangay Health Emergency Response Team and must follow the standards of the Department of Health on home quarantine facilities.
LSI and ROF must also submit waiver of undertaking to have their residence inspected before arriving in the ports of Roxas City.
They are not allowed to leave their rooms or homes where they are quarantine until they are cleared by health officials for completing the 14-day quarantine.
Food and supplies for LSI and ROF must be provided by their families.
Dadivas also reminded them to undergo real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) swab test within six days upon entry to the city.
