Sharing the sentiments and call of President Bongbong Marcos, Congressman Howard Guintu said Serbisyong GUINTU campaign is aimed at improving/uplifting the lives of every Capiznon family and the Province of Capiz.
One of the invited guests in yesterday’s Bagong Pilipinas event in Iloilo City, Congressman Guintu was all praises on the event’s turn-out that presented senatoriables under the Administration’s ticket.
Congressman Guintu was one of the House members present recognized and acknowledged by the President. He was spotted along with the full force of the Visayas Bloc solons.
Meantime on another development, politics heat up in Capiz particularly in Roxas City.
This as a Valentine’s Day special event of Congressman Guintu met last-minute opposition.
First to fall “victim” is “Haranang GUINTU,” a romantic Valentine’s treat to students. Congressman Guintu invited Capiznon buskers to serenade students and give out local artisanal chocolates.
With earlier approval granted, Congressman Guintu’s office received last minute cancellations.
Saddened yet not giving up, Congressman Guintu used the missed opportunity to extend the same Valentine’s treat to nearby First District towns.
As such, “Gugmang Guintu” and “Haranang Guintu” happened, albeit all outside Roxas City.
