ROXAS CITY — The local government of Roxas is eyeing to establish another slaughterhouse in the city.
The proposed slaughterhouse will be semi-mechanized, have faster output and cold storage, City Engineer Noel Laminares said.
“Samtang hindi pa mapadala sa merkado, ibutang lang sa cold storage para hindi magbaho, safe guihapon kag maayo ang quality,” Laminares said.
Laminares said that Mayor Ronnie Dadivas wanted the city government to avail of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) grant.
A meeting was recently held to seek clarification on the preparation of plans and program of works with the PRDP representatives.*
