The Capiz Provincial Police Office (CPPO) is set to intensify peace and order by implementing the Intensified Integrated Quad Policy and Administrative Support Strategy (IQ PASSED).
Police Colonel David L. Cachumbo Jr., officer-in-charge (OIC) of CPPO, said the program aligns with the strategic direction of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in strengthening operational efficiency while ensuring that police actions are guided by established policies and administrative support.
According to Cachumbo, IQ PASSED centers on four key operational pillars: Intelligence, Operations, Police Community Relations, and Investigation. The four key operational pillars should also enhance coordination among police units and improve the delivery of law enforcement services.
“Gusto natin na maramdaman ng mga Capiznon na nandiyan ang mga pulis natin,” Cachumbo said as he is emphasizing that law enforcement should not only be seen but also be felt by the public through responsive and reliable service.
The police official added that stronger collaboration between the police and local communities is expected to help speed up responses to incidents, improve information gathering, and sustain peace and other throughout Capiz.
Cachumbo replaced Police Colonel Albert D. Tapulao as CPPO chief in a July 6 turnover ceremony presided by Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño at Camp Teodorico C. Apil in Roxas City.
