ROXAS CITY—The Capiz Provincial Library will open on Sept. 30, 2020, according to the Capiz Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office Facebook page.
Governor Esteban Evan Contreras said that the library will open at 50-percent capacity as it observes the physical distancing protocol.
The library is located at the third floor of the Capiz Government and Business Center.
In a cellphone interview, Contreras said that this is a part of the province’s program for education.
There would also be internet connection in the library.
Contreras said that Capiznon works would also be welcomed once it is assessed of worthiness of inclusion.
The opening of the library is one of the activities in the provincial tourism month.
Contreras said that the library could be fully operational by 2021. (Ralph John Mijares)
