A Capizeña has urged the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain for help as tensions rise following the joint attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Ahmyzza Contreras posted on Facebook a plea last March 1 after she had to evacuate the building in Manama as it was hit by an Iranian missile during a retaliatory attack that targeted the US Navy base there.
Contreras said she is with Chinese nationals seeking shelter in another hotel.
Contreras is not an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), but had to process legal papers in Bahrain temporarily.
Originally, Contreras was with her husband in Bahrain. But her husband went back to Saudi Arabia for work before the US-Israel vs Iran attacks began.
