Eagle Scout Niel Anthony J. Belonio of Capiz has been named one of the 10 Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines for 2026.
Belonio received his award from BSP National President Emilio Aquino during the October 30 awarding ceremony at Ateneo de Manila University.
Belonio was awarded for his performance in community service, scouting skills, participation in scouting events, adherence to scouting ideals, and interview performance.
Belonio currently serves as Council Scout Representative of the BSP Capiz Council and has been an active scout since his Kid Scout days.
“I am inspired to serve with compassion when I see the example of those around me who serve: my family, friends, and scouts,” Belonio said.
Belonio was accompanied at the awarding ceremony by Council Scout Executive and Project SINDI Adviser Warren L. Paredes.
