Capiztahan opening honors outstanding Capitol employees

THE Capiztahan 2024 opened with the awarding of outstanding employees of the Capiz Provincial Government. Dubbed as the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE),
it was a testament to the outstanding contributions and impact made by provincial government employees.
Governor Fredenil “Oto” Castro, Vice Governor James “Mitang” Magbanua and Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Director Nelson Sarmiento led the awarding ceremony at Robinson’s Place Roxas last April 11, 2024.

Ahdiemar Ragadio Baylon was the grand winner and awarded as the Most Outstanding Employee. Baylon
is an administrative aide of the Capiz Provincial Tourism and Cultural Aff airs Office.
“My congratulations and commendation do not end here because we still have a long way to go [as public servants]. If we stick to the same commitment and same vision, we will not fail [in serving the people],” said Castro.
There was also an award for Most Outstanding Health Care Worker, Most Outstanding Hospital, Most Outstanding Office, Ganatimpala Award, Community-Impact Award, Achievement Awards in Individual Category and Hospital Category, Award for Citation for Career Advancement, and Award for License/Eligibility Conferment.
The selection for this year’s PRAISE Awards was chaired by Provincial Administrator Atty.

Meanwhile, around 300 employees who have
been serving the provincial
government for 20 years
or more were also given
promotions.
