
Capiz State University (CAPSU) once again proved its excellence as it emerged as one of the awardees during the 4th Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Awards.
CAPSU received the following awards:
– Recognition to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for the Provision of Support to CHED Regional Office VI Endeavors
– Award for Excellence in Community Extension and Linkages
– Award for Excellence in Research
– Award for Excellence in NSTP – CAPSU Main Campus
– Award for Excellence in NSTP – CAPSU Burias Campus
– Model Implementers – Registrar’s Records
Held last May 28 in Iloilo City, the CHED Regional Quality Awards recognized exemplary contributions and innovations in various areas such as instruction, research, and community extension.
Present during the awarding ceremony were Dr. Efren L. Linan, University President; Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension; Dr. Annalie G. Campos, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Cleo Jude A. Joaquin, Roxas City Main Campus Focal Person; Dr. Rodyard B. Madiclum, Burias Campus Administrator; Dr. Ronilo G. Berondo; Director for Human Resource Training and Development; and Dr. Arlyn C. Olmo, Burias Campus Registrar.
