CAPIZ Gov. Fredenil Castro is prioritizing medical and health services as his flagship programs, provincial public information officer Luvim Amores said.
The first thing Castro did upon assumption of office was to visit the government hospitals and met with the personnel to discuss the real situation in the sector to com up with solutions.
At the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH), he created the hospital management group that will
focus on the improvement of services of the hospital.
Since he believes on the leadership of Dr. Florencio Luching, Castro appointed
him as chief of hospital, and assigned two doctors as his deputies, who will look into problems and complaints then find the needed solution.
Meanwhile, to intensify measures against health care issues, Castro is continuously conducting fora in all municipalities which was attended by all sectors of the society.
He is preparing the community if ever COVID-19 and dengue cases will rise again.*
