The Department of Health launched the “Chikiting Ligtas” measles, rubella, oral polio vaccine supplemental immunization program at the covered gym in Barangay Lanot, Roxas City recently.
Leading the activity was Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and other local officials.
“Chikiting Ligtas” is a nationwide vaccination program of the DOH against measles, rubella, and polio for children aged 0 – 59 months old from February 1 to 28.
Barangay Lanot Barangay Captain Rolando Tuazon said that despite the worries of the parents following the Dengvaxia scare, more still came to have their children vaccinated.*
