ROXAS CITY – A civil registry outlet will soon be established in Capiz, Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA)-Capiz officer Frankie Dordas said.
Dordas said that Capiz is one of the 30 provinces in the country that will have its civil registry outlet.
This plan is according to the memorandum of agreement between PSA and its partner, UNISYS, he said.
However, no specific date was given if when it will be established.
The feasibility study for the location of the outlet did not proceed due to the pandemic, Dordas said.
The pandemic has delayed the entry of the representatives of UNISYS in Capiz for the project, Dordas added.
Right now, Capiznons would have to go to the PSA office in Iloilo to get their certificate of live birth.*
