ROXAS CITY – A police officer from Tapaz town has returned the P40,000 cash he found at the street to its owner.
Netizens raved about the story of Police Corporal Ramjie Guevarra online.
In a recent interview, Guevarra said he found the money at the plaza when he was on his way to the police station.
“The first thing that came to my mind was I have to bring the cash to the police station. Most likely, the owner would go there, he said.
Guevarra eventually met the owner, then returned the cash.
He said he had to ask the owner how the money was lost. “Makita man sa facial expression kon nagabutig,” he added.*
