In line with Bagong Pilipinas and the National Women’s Month celebration, the Roxas City Police Station (RCPS) recently conducted a community outreach program in the island barangay of Olotayan.
The RCPS’ Police Community Affairs and Development Section (PCADS) led by Police Executive Master Sergeant Felomar Dela Fuente had several activities for the island residents.
There was a brief lecture focusing on women’s rights.
A total of 100 women also received food packs containing rice, canned goods and snacks donated by various partners of RCPS, especially the Roxas City Local Government under the administration of Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
Punong Barangay Manuel Aninang thanked the efforts made by RCPS in helping alleviate poverty and empowering women of Olotayan through the crime prevention campaign lecture.
Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Paguia lauded Olotayan officials and residents for the warm welcome and cooperation with the RCPS.
