ROXAS CITY — The Temporary Treatment and Management Facility (TTMF) for COVID-19 patients was opened in Hortus Botanicus at Bgy. Milibili here on October 4, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said.
Dadivas said that the TTMF serves as a holding area for the patients before they will be brought to the hospital.
“Ini ang sabat sang city government sa kakulangan sang bed capacity sa mga nagagutok na nga ospital sa syudad kag probinsya,” Dadivas said.
He said that hospitals have reached critical levels, as patients would have to wait until a hospital room will be vacated.
Mild to moderate COVID-19 patients from Roxas City were brought to TTMF, where they are referred by hospitals until rooms will be available.
The facility has 16 rooms and complete with medical facilities such as oxygen, oxygen concentrators, high flow cannula, and others. Doctors, nurses, and nursing aides were also assigned to take care of the patients.*
