Metro Roxas Water District received the delivery of the new set of Tube Settlers for its Sedimentation Basin B recently at the Salocon Water Treatment Plant, Panitan.
The Tube Settlers are an essential part of a water treatment plant wherein it settles out suspended solids. The installation of these Tube Settlers will decrease the frequency of backwashing and improve the filtration rate thereby improving overall water production.
The Tube Settlers will be installed in three phases, one of which was installed on May 4, 2023, and has improved the water treatment process according to the Production Department. (MRWD)
