The newly-built Capiz Provincial Science and Technology Center (PSTC) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 6 was inaugurated on December 1.
This was a pre-event activity in line with the virtual celebration of the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) in Region 6 on December 2 to 3.
The activity was graced by the DOST 6 Regional Director Rowen Gelonga, Capiz Provincial Science and Technology Director Gerbe Dellava, Capiz State University president EdithaAlfon and other officials.
The Capiz PSTC is set as an environment-friendly facility, a press release from DOST-6 said.
In the next few months it will be installed with rainwater harvesting, solid waste management, and solar panel systems, it added.
“Although we have a very small building, we made sure that we have the necessary facilities aside from our offices in order to deliver our services to our clients effectively and efficiently,” Gelonga said.*
