JAMINDAN, CAPIZ– Beneficiaries of Cash for Work Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) received their pay out, November 15.
About 600 beneficiaries in Jamindan, Capiz are happy to received their pay out from the Cash for Work Program of the DSWD amounting to P3,950.00 for a ten (10) days of work in maintaining cleanliness in their respective barangays.
The program were attended by Gov. Fredenil “Oto” Castro, 2nd District Congresswoman Inday Baby Jane Castro, the DSWD and the Municipal Officials of Jamindan, Capiz under the administration of Mayor Mac Artur Valdemar.
The success of the program were spearheaded by DSWD Region VI, Mr. Armil Gayorgor,
PDO II, Jamindan MSWDO and the rest of Jamindan LGU.
Mayor Valdemar and Vice Mayor Lemuel Vestidas delivered their inspirational massages to the beneficiaries together with their families signifying the big help of the program in times of crisis
brought by Covid-19 Pandemic.
Furthermore, Cong. Inday Baby Jane Castro took the change to discuss Risk Resiliency Program –
Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (RRP-CCAM) Disaster Risk Reduction.
In a message, Governor Castro said that, “Padayon ang mga programa nga halin sa aton Kapitolyo kag Kongreso nga makabulig gid sa tanan kapareho sang ginbalik nga scholarship program, medical, hospital, kag burial assistance”.*
