PONTEVEDRA, CAPIZ — Rent at Hipona public market will be free for a year, Barangay Captain Resty Oquendo said during the opening rites on May 15.
He said the market was built to be accessible to the people of Maayon, Lutod-Lutod, and Pontevedra, especially in the upper land.
Capiz 1st District Representative Emmanuel “Tawo” Billones, and former PRRD Penamfed Capiz provincial chairman Gina Arches were also present during the opening.*
