Congressman Howard Guintu of Pinuno Party-list led the kick-off campaign of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) in Capiz.
Guintu’s team started with a mass at the Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral last March 28. He then had a gathering with family, friends and supporters.
“Honestly, we wanted to keep this simple. We wanted to reflect on what’s ahead,” said Guintu.
Guintu was joined by former governor, congressman and mayor Antonio “Tony” del Rosario. His uncle Tony is seeking to regain the mayoralty seat in Roxas City.
While Guintu is a congressional candidate for Capiz 1st District, he also reiterated that he is still the incumbent congressman of Pinuno Party-list.
This means Guintu is still going around various areas to check.
“There are pending activities that we will be conducting. Next week, we will be inspecting the seaports, fishing ports and other project sites in preparation for the 2026 national budget,” Guintu disclosed.
Meanwhile, Guintu assured he will facilitate more projects for the further development of Capiz.
Guintu reiterated he already facilitated funding for construction of barangay halls, distribution of rescue vehicles and medical assistance.
