JCI Roxas Makawiwili 25th induction

Far cry from the usual black-tie ceremonies of Junior Chamber International (JCI), the ladies of JCI Roxas Makawiwili opted for a more business casual look by matching their Local Organization (LO) Barong with unconventional white sneakers for the Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremonies with JCI Panitan Tumandok recently at El Circulo Convention Center.

The event started by the giving of LO Leadership Awards to the exemplary JCI Roxas Makawiwili members who extended valuable contributions to the fulfillment of the chapter’s projects for the past year, embodying JCI’s ideals of empowering young people to become active citizens that possess the courage to address the most critical challenges of our time.

It was followed by the Induction of the 2021 officers of the newly formed JCI Capiz Senate wherein 2021 JCI Capiz Senate President Karen Palomar proudly reminisced how far the local organization had come– from its revival way back in 2014 up to having its very own Local Senate at present.

Moreover, after her successful term, Immediate Past President Ma. Katrina Carmina Nisce-Anisco, then took the time for her valedictory speech to express her gratitude to the members and partners of the chapter who unceasingly support the organization despite the limitations to projects caused by the pandemic.

Leading the 2021 JCI Roxas Makawiwili was its president, Joan Adonay, along with the officers and board of directors, who took their oaths and pledged to stand by their thrust of upholding the organization’s philosophy, belief, and creed, and will enforce and uphold the constitution and by-laws.*
