ROXAS CITY — A marker for Domingo Tuason Franco of Mambusaonon from the National Historical Commission of the Philippines is being sought.
Just recently, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members unanimously approved the resolution seeking a marker for the Mambusaonon hero.
The resolution was authored by Board Member Elmer Arevalo.
Franco was the first president of La Liga Filipina and one of the 13 martyrs who died at Bagumbayan on January 11, 1897.
Vice Governor Jaime Magbanua said that Franco was an unsung hero.*
