THE National Food Authority
Capiz released a total of 12,639
bags of good quality rice to
25,278 benefi ciaries on June 30,
in relation to the One-time grant
Rice Assistance (OTRA) to the
government employees and
workers under administrative
order No. 02 signed by
President Marcos Jr.
The order stated that
workers in national government
agencies, state-owned
universities and colleges,
government-owned and
controlled corporations, and
uniformed personnel will be
entitled to 25-kilogram rice
assistance from the government
considering that they are
in government service and/
or engaged by government
agencies as of November
30, 2022 and in the list of
the Department of Budget
and Management’s (DBM)
benefi ciaries.
The distribution of rice
assistance in the NFA Capiz
branch started on April 26,
2022 in its unit offi ce in Aklan
where the fi rst recipient was
the Department of Science and
Technology-Aklan witnessed
by Acting Branch Manager
Cashmere Gemarino.
More than 50 offi ces have
served with the rice assistance.
