‘No entry in cemeteries, burial sites during Undas’ –E.O.

ROXAS CITY—Due to the Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) pandemic, the Capiz provincial government has advised the public not to go to cemeteries, memorial parks, columbaria and other places for burial in the coming holidays.

Per executive order signed by Gov. Esteban Evan Contreras, the management of these public areas must ensure that nobody is able to enter the premises from October 29 to November 4.

On other dates, proper health protocols must be observed such as wearing of face shields, face masks, and observation of two-meters social distancing.

Any person going to places of burial must coordinate with the management of these places.

The E.O. also encourages the sharing of contact details online and offline to facilitate appointments without overcrowding at the entrances.

Such places can open up to 30 percent capacity at other dates, the E.O. added.

Local government units are asked to implement the order and ensure that visitors come in an orderly fashion.

Gambling and drinking alcohol and other intoxicating substances are also prohibited.
