Over 2,000 fishermen get aid

ROXAS CITY — More than 2,000 fisherfolk recently received rice packs from the Capiz provincial government.

The fisherfolk, who were affected by the recent typhoons that hit the province, came from four barangays: Culasi with 806 beneficiaries, Libas with 756, Barra with 596, and Baybay with 416.

Councilors Moring Gonzaga, and Midelo Ocampo, along with Provincial Engineer Edgar Agana, were present during the distributions.

Meanwhile, the Joint Chambers of Commerce-Capiz through Teresita Barbasa and Danilo So Chan donated some 9,000 face shields to the Capiz provincial government.*
