THE vaccination program of the government has benefitted 5,239 police personnel in Western Visayas, out of which 3,395 have received complete jabs.
Col. Joem Malong, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office Western Visayas (PRO6), in an interview, said they are lobbying for the local government units (LGUs) to include in their vaccination program police personnel assigned in their area since they are performing frontline duties.

The Department of Health has been advocating for the eligible population to avail of the inoculation as an added layer of protection against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection.
