P11-M earmarked for COVID vaccines

ROXAS CITY — The local government units in Capiz will earmark a total of P11 million for the purchase of coronavirus disease vaccines.

The funds would come from 20 percent development fund in the previous years.

The resolution requesting the 16 municipalities and the city in the province of Capiz to earmark a portion of their 2021 budget for the purchase of vaccine against COVID-19 to be used by their constituents was recently approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP).

The resolution was authored by Board Member Esteban Jose Contreras.*
