PRO-6 celebrates 32nd PNP Foundation Day

POLICE Regional Office 6 celebrated the 32nd PNP Foundation Day Monday, February 13, at Camp Martin
Teofilo B. Delgado, in Iloilo City. Iloilo 4th District Rep. Ferjenel Biron was the guest of honor and speaker. Biron, in his speech, congratulates the awardees for a job well done and reminds all the uniformed personnel to serve with integrity for the fulfillment of their mandate to serve God and country.
“We, as public servants, must unite and help each other in any way we can to effectively perform the mandate of our offices, and better serve our people for God and for our country,” said Biron.
The awarding of medals to deserving PNP personnel highlighted the ceremony.
These are the recipients of Medlaya ng Kadakilaan:

  1. Lieutenant Colonel Jesus Mesahon and Staff Sergeant John Michael Abao of the San Carlos Component City Police Office for the successful conduct of the buy-bust operation at Brgy. Rizal, San Carlos City Negros Occidental, on June 14, 2022, which resulted in the arrest of Rex Baron.
  1. Major Rommel Anicete and Captain Soliman, members of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted a successful buy-bust operation at Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental, on August 26, 2022, which resulted in the arrest of Angie Dumdumaya and Angielyn Dumdumaya, both HVIs.
    Meanwhile, Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to Major Myles Dieron andmembers of Cabatuan and Lambunao Municipal Police Station, Iloilo Police Provincial Office, for a successful arrest of
    wanted persons in the person of Joan Lego, co-leader of the Lebuna-Lego Criminal Gang, and Maylin Araneta at Barangay Acao, Cabatuan, Iloilo, on September 8, 2022, for robbery with force upon things, robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons, theft, and the new Anti-Carnapping
    Act of 2016.
    The same award was given to Major Renato Monreal and Staff Sergeant Godfrey Lamprea of Sibalom Municipal Police Station and Antique PIU for a successful service of a warrant of arrest against Raymund Paner Naman, alias “Panen,” who is the Top 2 Most Wanted Person– Regional Level, at Barangay Tog-amagan, Miag-ao, Iloilo on July 3, 2022.
    Medalya ng Papuri was also awarded to NUP Alain Resano, a member of the Regional Accounting Office, by going above and beyond the call of duty through the “Bridging Help Project” of Oton Municipal Police Station, wherein he contributed P10,000 and was able to award the Negre family a small pabahay, livestock, a pack of commodities, and emergency lights on July 6.
    PRO-6 also gave cash assistance and a token to Ivy Rose Espanto, the wife of PRO- 6’s fallen hero, Police Captain Efren Espanto Jr.*
