ROXAS CITY — The Roxas City Police Station (RCPS) has warned the public of the new “28-day double your money” scheme.
Police Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad, city police chief, said he checked with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Region 6 and found out that the scheme was not recognized as a corporation.
The police advised the public to discontinue their investments to prevent getting tricked.
“Ginapabalo ang kon sino man ang nakainvest sine kon pwede lang maguntat na kamu para indi matontohan sa ulihi,” he said.
Meanwhile, he also urged the victims of any investment scams to file a complaint.*
