ROXAS CITY — Vice Mayor Erwin Sicad has warned the public against a scam that uses his name.
Unscrupulous individuals or groups pretending to be him have victimized business employees and establishments for food and load worth P100,000.
“To the scammers, you have been warned. What goes around comes around and you will face the consequences of your foolish actions,” the vice mayor said. He added that their luck will soon run out.
“Kaladlukan kag delikado ini tungod kay bisan kay sin-o pangalan pwede nila gamiton,” he added.
He urged the public to be vigilant and to always verify any information.
“I don’t want this to happen to anyone,” he added.*
