Authorities arrested a man accused of rape in the Municipality of Tapaz.
Tapaz Municipal Police Station arrested the suspect known as “Tonyo” last April 11.
The 53-year-old alleged rapist from Brgy. Taslan was among the Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals
in Western Visayas region.
The suspect was arrested when Judge Rommel Lacson Leonor of the Regional Trial Court (RTC
Branch 21) in Mambusao issued the warrant.
The suspect, who is facing two counts of rape, fled when he learned that his victim filed against
him.
The suspect was previously ranked as the region’s sixth most wanted criminal.
