The alleged notorious lady robber of Roxas City is now behind bars after police recently arrested her.
The Roxas City Police Station disclosed that alias “Ruby Arik*s” has been transferred to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Brgy. San Jose.
Police Chief Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, spokesperson, said she was arrested last October 1.
Cops were able to quickly arrest her while she was roaming the streets of Pueblo de Panay and was even smiling at police officers who arrested her.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Sesinio Navales Belen Jr. of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 15 of Roxas City on September 05, 2025. The court recommended a bail of P48,000 for her temporary liberty.
Arcangeles said that the suspect underwent check up in a hospital before she was put behind bars.
The suspect is involved in a series of robbery incidents in Roxas City and in nearby towns.
Until recently, no one has dared to file cases against her as most of the victims believe she has a mental health condition.
In Roxas City, the suspect is always known to beg strangers for food to eat. She reportedly has no family member taking care of her.
