Roxas has new police chief

A NEW police chief has been appointed by the Capiz Provincial Police Office (CPPO)
for the Roxas Component City Police Station (RCCPS).

Lt. Col. Francisco Paguia succeeded the post of Lt. Col. Aron Palomo.

The ceremony was presided over by CPPO acting director Col. Jerome Afuyog Jr., and Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.

Before he was appointed as officer-in-charge of the Roxas police, Paguia was a well-rounded police offi cer, having served in various capacities, including as the chief of the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Capiz PPO.

“To the people of Roxas City, I’m ready to serve you and make Roxas City a safer place to live, work, and do business,”
Paguia said.

In a statement, Dadivas vowed its full support for Paguia’s leadership.
Palomo, meanwhile,
thanked everyone who
supported him for more than a
year.

“It has been an honor and
privilege to have served you.
I’ve served Roxas City with a
heart,” Palomo said.
Furthermore, Afuyog
emphasized that, as a witness to
Palomo’s dedication, he saw the
improvement that he has made
in the RCCPS, which cannot be
seen in any other police station.
He added that he anticipates
greater leadership from Paguia.*
