Roxas SP clutches 32nd session, approves new motions

THE Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Roxas held its 32nd Regular Session on Tuesday, March 7, at SP Session Hall, Roxas City, chaired by Vice Mayor Teresa
Almalbis.

The session gave verdict to new proposed ordinances by the SP members, one of which is the revision of City Ordinance 016-2007, entitled “An Ordinance providing for the Utilization, Management, Conservation,
and Regulation of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the City of Roxas, province
of Capiz, integrating laws already existing and for other purposes” by the Committee
on Agriculture and Fisheries.

Meanwhile, the proposed ordinance of Councilor Victor Federico Acepcion to institutionalize the health and wellness of all officials and employees of the city government of Roxas and appropriating fund thereof was approved.

The Contract of Lease with Almira’s D. Warehouse relative to the intent of the city to lease warehouse space for storage and safekeeping of properties and documents as well as the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of Roxas City to be reviewed and approved.

Also, Councilor Reynaldo Magallanes tackled the request or the amendment or revision of the ordinance regarding the
open muffler motorcycle to change the punishment and see to it the implementation of stricter rules to maintain peace and clean air around the city.*
