SM City Roxas brought happiness to children in three island barangays of the Municipality of President
Roxas. A total of 290 children in the island barangays of Quiajo, Sangkal and Santo Niño received stuffed teddy bears through the Bears of Joy project of SM Supermalls and SM Cares. The distribution of Bears of Joy is an annual volunteerism activity aimed to spread genuine happiness to children. The mall’s tenants including Ribshack, Jollibee Chooks to Go, Bread Basket, Casa Ilongga, and Lloydies also gave joy to children by giving them meals. SM City Roxas brings joy to 3 island barangays of President Roxas The activity was made successful through the support of the local government unit (LGU) of President Roxas, its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). Employees were greeted with warm welcome and smiles by the children, their parents and their teachers.
