In observance of International Coastal Cleanup 2026, SM City Roxas partnered with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office – Capiz, local government units, schools, and other government agencies to conduct a coastal cleanup in Brgy. Culasi, Roxas City, Capiz.
Hundreds of volunteers from SM City Roxas, barangay officials, residents, uniformed personnel, and private organizations joined forces to collect 781.8 kilograms of recyclable, residual, and hazardous waste along the shoreline.
The initiative aims to protect marine life, preserve coastal habitats, and promote environmental awareness in the community.
All collected waste will be properly segregated for disposal and recycling where possible.
Through this activity, SM Cares reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability and to building healthier, more resilient coastal communities.
