ORDER

In a verified Amended Petition for Adoption of minor child Joaquim H. Punsalan filed through counsel by Petitioner Aimee E. Paras, she prayed that this Court after due notice, publication and hearing, judgment be rendered that minor, Joaquim H. Punsalan be freed from all legal obligations of obedience and maintenance with respect to her natural parents and that he declared for all intents and purposes the child of the Petitioner. FURTHER, it is most respectfully prayed that the name JOAQUIM H. PUNSALAN will be changed to JOAQUIM BEN ESTORQUE PARAS.

Finding the Petition to be sufficient in form and substance, set the hearing thereof on June 24, 2021 at 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon at the session hall of this Court, RTC Branch 14, Hall of Justice, Roxas City. All interested parties are ordered to appear and file their opposition, if any, and show cause why the said Petition should not be granted.

Let this Order be published at the expense of the Petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the Province of Capiz and in the City of Roxas and the same be posted at the Bulletin Board and in three (3) conspicuous places in the premises of the Court.

Let copies of this Order be served upon the Office of Solicitor General, the Petitioner, her counsel and the Office of Provincial Prosecutor.
