O R D E R
In a verified amended petition fi led through counsel, petitioner John Michael Luciano a.k.a John Michael Luciano Cantiller, prays that after due notice, publication and hearing, judgment be rendered ordering the Local Civil Registrar of Roxas City, Capiz and the Civil Registrar General, Philippine Statistics Authority, Manila to cancel the annotation of legitimation and the registered Joint Affidavit of Legitimation entered/ annotated in the Certificate of Live Birth of petitioner and to allow / permit petitioner to carry and use the surname of his father “Cantiller” in all his pertinent records and annotated / register said approval / permit in his Certificate of Live Birth.
Finding the petition suffi cient in form and substance, the same is hereby set for hearing on 29 April 2024 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning, in the Session Hall of this Court, Regional Trial Court, Branch 19, Hall of Justice, Roxas City.
Let this Order be published at the expense of petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in a national newspaper of general circulation, to aff ord any or all persons claiming any right or interest in the entry whose correction is sought to fi le any opposition prior to the date of hearing.
Furnish copy of this Order to the Solicitor General, the Local Civil Registrar of Roxas City, Capiz, the Civil Registrar General/Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Manila, the petitioner and his counsel.
