The barangay health workers (BHWs) of Tapaz were honored by the local government unit
(LGU) led by Mayor Roberto Palomar.
The Palomar administration wanted to highlight the crucial role of BHWs in ensuring the health
and well-being of the people of Tapaz.
The mayor and the entire LGU Tapaz expressed gratitude to the BHWs for their invaluable
contributions.
The festivities included a lively search for Miss BHW, showcasing the beauty, talent, and
commitment of the healthcare heroes.
The culmination of the event involved the distribution of cash gifts to the BHWs, which was a
gesture of appreciation for their hard work and selfless services.
The Christmas party served as a moment of joy, recognition, and camaraderie among the
dedicated health advocates.
The event was also attended by esteemed guests including Vice Mayor Romel Somo,
Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Member Bob Gardose, SB Member Hernalyn Pastrana, personnel from
Tapaz Municipal Health Office, Department of Health (DOH) representatives, and Milagros
