Capiz through the years . . .
1934 – Rafael S. Tumbokon was elected to serve as congressman for the third congressional in the third district of
Capiz until 1935 in the 10th Philippine Legislature. The first congressman in the third district of Capiz was Simeon Mobo (1907 – 1909). He was succeeded by Braulio Manikan (1909 –1912), followed by Jose Tirol (1912 – 1916), Leonardo Festin (1916-1919), Eufrosino Alba (1919 – 1922), Manuel Terencio (1922 – 1925), Manuel Laserna (1925-1928), Teodulfo Suner (1928 – 1931), and Rufi no L. Garde (1931 – 1934). The third congressional of Capiz was composed of the municipalities of Batan, Baruanga, Ibajay, Madalag, Makato, Malay, Malinao, Nabas, Numancia anf Tangalan.
