Two Capiznon cops lauded

ROXAS CITY — Philippine National Police chief General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar lauded the two cops from Dumalag Municipal Police Station for helping a woman deliver a baby safely.

Corporal Mary Joy Fusin, a registered nurse, and Staff Sergeant Maybelle Legario helped Tirisa Bindol of Dumalag gave birth on June 24.

Bindol and her husband were on their way to Dao District Hospital when she started to feel severe labor pains.

This prompted Bindol’s husband to seek help from the police. Both Fusin and Legario quickly responded to the scene.

After the delivery, the infant was then brought to the Dumalag Health Center.
