Loving deeply is supposed to be a beautiful thing. But sometimes, it’s painful. You give your all, thinking that the love you pour out will come back to you the same way. But reality often proves otherwise.
The harsh truth is, when you love too much, people tend to take advantage of you. Some will see your kindness as weakness. Some will betray your trust without a second thought. Others will leave your messages unread, as if your presence in their life doesn’t matter. And the worst part? You start questioning your worth.
I’ve been there. I did love fully, selflessly, and without hesitation. I gave and gave, thinking love was enough to keep people around. But love alone isn’t always enough. Some people will stay only as long as they benefit from your presence. Once they no longer need you, they disappear.
It’s painful to realize that not everyone will love you the way you love them. Some will use your kindness for their convenience, draining you emotionally without giving anything in return. And by the time you realize it, you’re already exhausted. Empty from giving too much to people who never deserved it in the first place.
