The Municipality of Ivisan under the administration of Mayor Felipe Neri “Ipe” Yap has undertaken various programs this fiscal year 2026 including the ones backed by the national government.
Yap particularly mentioned how the people of Ivisan have benefited from programs backed by the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF), which has funding from the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Yap also presented the projects being implemented by the LGU including the relocation of the Ivisan Civic Center, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
“Gina tutokan nation subong ang aton nga complete renovation sang aton Ivisan Civic Center—kung sa diin ina tilipunan sang aton mga kasimanwa, mga ka barangagyan, kon kita may mga aktibidades, kon may mga bisita kita, dira naton ginabutang nga lugar,” Yap said.
The Yap administration is also prioritizing the completion of the construction of daycare centers in barangays, multipurpose buildings, sports facilities, and farm-to-market roads.
Another major project expected under Yap’s administration is the Arriba RORO Terminal, Ivisan Memorial Park, and the rehabilitation of the Ivisan Public Market.
Yap is coordinating with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to conduct dredging of rivers and creeks to mitigate the perennial flooding.
Meanwhile, Ivisan is gearing up for the Buyloganay Festival 2026. The LGU has lined up events for the annual celebration that honors their patron saint of St. Nicholas of Tolentino.
